Pichot van Slijpe

Pichot is a French Huguenot family from which two brothers arrived in the Dutch colony of Suriname via Amsterdam in the early 18th century. Later generations partly returned to the Netherlands. Branches include Pichot van Slijpe, Pichot du Plessis, and the Surinamese line Pichot L'Espinasse. The family was included in the Netherlands' Patriciate in 1911.
