Calkoen

Calkoen is an Amsterdam regenten family from the 17th and 18th centuries. Its members were cloth dyers and merchants trading with the Levant and the East Indies, and also held administrative positions. Since 1815, the family has been part of the Dutch nobility and patriciate.
